Lauréats/Lauréates

Le fonds PERSPEKTIVE 2023 et l’équipe du Bureau des arts plastiques de l’Institut français d’Allemagne sont heureux d’annoncer les projets lauréats du Concours d’idées GROWING VILLAGES – The future is not metropolitan.

La remise de prix aura lieu le jeudi 23 novembre 2023 au AIT-ArchitekturSalon Hambourg à partir de 19h en présence des trois lauréats, du jury et des organisateurs du concours (information et inscription) .

Le concours d’idées a invité architectes, paysagistes, designers, artistes (de manière individuelle ou collective) à imaginer le village d’aujourd’hui voire du futur. Un village qui évolue, se développe, croît sans devenir une grande ville pour autant. Un territoire social et sociétal qui respecte la nature… (consulter l’appel à candidature)

Les organisateurs ont reçu 33 candidatures, d’Allemagne et de France, portées par des profils très divers aussi bien par leurs parcours que par leurs scènes d’évolution. Le jury franco-allemand était composé d’Olivier Gaudin, Djamel Klouche, Antje Stokman et Jan Liesegang. (Plus d’information sur le jury).
Le jury a apprécié la réappropriation du sujet par les candidats, ayant proposé une multitude d’interprétations à un thème pourtant très actuel. Les questions environnementales, économiques ou encore celles des mobilités ont été largement abordées, tandis que les projets les plus pertinents ont incorporé les traditions et les pratiques vernaculaires en tant qu’identité d’un village. L’imagination débordante, à tendance utopiste, des candidats a été unanimement appréciée. La qualité de rédaction et le soin apporté aux illustrations ont été des critères de sélection.

  1. Le premier prix a été remis au projet The caretakers – An exploration on a traumatized landscapes, proposé par Cécile Gaudard (1998, Orcines, France)
    .
  2. Le deuxième prix revient au projet Transhumance : a model for growing villages, imaginé par Kim Tzarowsky (Berlin) et Maria José Landeta Valencia
    .
  3. Le troisième prix a été accordé au projet Cooperative Hinterland de Sarah Pens (1997, Hannover)
Par ailleurs, le jury a décidé d’accorder une mention spéciale à deux projets :

  • Das Unbequeme Dorf de Benedikt Hartl pour sa créativité tiré d’une expérience personnelle
    .
  • Make Ines stay ? de Johanna Bendlin, Laura Villeret et Falma Fshazi pour sa dimension poétique
En plus des lauréat.es et des mentions spéciales seront présentés à l’occasion de cette soirée 5 projets supplémentaires retenus par le jury pour leur qualité. Les 5 projets sont (par ordre alphabétique)  :
